Next find the oil filter. This can be dificult as filters are not always put in an obviuse place, they can be found on the front, back or side of engines. You need to look at the filter you bought and find something similar. Once you find it screw it off. Get a good grip and turn it slowly and steady as they usually feel very tight and move slowly. If you can't get it off by hand, use an oil filter wrench. It will eventually come off. Careful not to spill the oil that is in the filter, you should have a pan waiting underneath to catch the drips.
